Southern Dirt is proud to present Ronny Lee Hollingsworth, Alabama's own Late Model driver, as driver of the week. Watching Ronny over the past few years, fans have watched this young man as he steadily has become the favorite of many. Ronny's dad has played a major role in the success of Ronny, along with having mentors such as the Intimagator Chris Wall. Winning Rookie Of The Year last year in the MSCCS has brought even more race fans to take notice when the # 18 pulls onto the track. Batesville, saw the Alabama driver take the 2nd and again the 3rd place spot on April 14-15 of this year. The dirt track at Lowes motor speedway saw him taking the second fastest time on Friday night and finishing 7th in the feature this weekend. Alabamians are known for having pride in the Tide, but as race fans Alabama & Mississippi can both say with pride "He is one of our own"

Good job @ The Colossial!
Your first "big" win is just around the corner, and I sure hope I'm there to see it.

Excellent choice Bama!.. I have to say I'm a huge fan -- great friend & excellent driver.. The first race I seen him run( with dad's 4U & RLH's 4U2 matching cars) was @ Guin.. omg we pulled in to see these locals with huge side spoilers & boys with "the big motors" hehe and bless his heart -- he struggled at first.. just as anyone does.. can't expect to go out and win on your first nite-- but i've been a fan every since!! He works from daylight to dark to make sure he has his car ready with what it takes to make not only make it to the racetrack but with high expectations of finishing up front!!! He has had some really great races this year.. ran 1-2 with Bloomquist @ NAS @ the season opener..not many can say that... and the past few weekends from Bamas posting shows some excellent qualifying & finishes!! Keep up the good work!! Good luck this weekend to the Hollingsworth crew @ TST I believe? ~Brit~~ Muffler Magic..do you have a pic for me..from a long time ago

I was wanting to request the permission of Ronnie Lee to get his car made to go on a very well known Late Model game that is on PC. There are so many of the other late model drivers names on the game such as Shane Clanton,Mike bolland, and all your other well known drivers. in order to do this I would need some help from you guys. I would need some great photos so the car can be made just as his car is. If you could help me out please send photos to Racing213@aol.com or any suggestions you have. The game can be found at Slingindirt.com. Thanks for your cooperation. Chris Turley Racing. com
