Racing is a Family Sport !! Anyone know of another Husband and Wife racing family ?? This picture was taken in 1978. I did a google search and found that they raced togather through 1998.

Right off I can't think of any husband and wife teams that race. There are some that have the wife as the crew chief ;D

Some of the racers I can think of that have their wife helping and an all important part of their racing is David Breazeale Mike Boland Chris Wall Jon Miller Steve Russell's wife was always right there when Steve was racing. Rex Michael Scott Gable I know I will think of some more later.

Len and Verta Hennell raced against each other for at least the '78 season (as well as separately, for several years) at Mobile and Pensacola.
Just a side note, Len was transferred out to the West coast after the '78 season and Verta continued to race out there. She became the first female NASCAR track champion, she won one of the lower divisions at her home track out West.
