I have been led the last few days to talk about something, Prayer. I know you are thinking, that subject again? I think what is troublesome is that when I look at how many people have viewed The Daily Dirt and then I see how many have viewed The Daily Dirt Prayer request, the number is half as many. On most every board I post there are half as many people who view the prayer request than there are that view the message. Now I do not care for myself one bit. I do care for those who have asked for prayer. These are our brothers and sisters who have looked to us for support. Christians or not they have asked for prayer because they are in need or someone they know is in need. We need to pray for that request. I do not know 99% of those who read these messages, but I would still ask for prayer if I had a need in hopes that people would be praying for me. God tells us in (Matthew 21:22) If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer. We need to ask God, in prayer, for him to help those who are in need and to answer those prayers. This is not a self-glorifying, look at me, see what I write kind of messages. This is true, from the heart request that all who read The Daily Dirt please read the prayer request and say a pray for those folks. Yes some days there are not any request, but I keep posting a few things that I feel are important for us to keep praying about.
God is powerful and God cares. We are to ask for those things we need. He wants us to talk to him. Do not be afraid to have a conversation with him. Talk to him as you would your best friend. There is no right or wrong way to pray. Just talk to him and pray for those in need. Believe he will answer those prayers. Silent words coming from a bowed head will be heard loud and clear.
